Daria Parsa is a visual artist and community arts coordinator using collaborative approaches to bring creative projects to life. She believes that art supports communities by bringing communities together and engaging all people in creative practices. After receiving her Bachelor's in studio art and art history, she worked for two years as the Exhibition Manager at the Sandy Spring Museum, working with local artists and nonprofits to curate art exhibitions and programs. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s in Arts and Cultural Management at Pratt Institute in New York, working towards her long-term vision of building a community living and creative space. When she’s not studying, she can be found drawing or exploring New York City with friends.
